KNIGHT OF THE YEAR - JIM BURKHARDT
The Idaho State Council presents the Knight of the Year Award annually at the State Convention, to a Brother Knight who best exemplifies the basic principles of the Knights of Columbus, as demonstrated by service during the past year.

Awarded to the council with the best methods of communicating with their members, their parish and their community.

KNIGHTS PRIEST OF THE YEAR - CHAPLAIN FATHER TIM RITCHEY
The Idaho State Council presents the Knight of the Year Award annually at the State Convention, to the priest or bishop in the state that best exemplifies the qualities of Fr. Juan Perez and Fr. Michael J. McGivney.

Presented to the council that exceeds their annual new member recruitment goal by 200% and completes the requirements of the Father McGivney Award, the Founder's Award and the Columbia Award.

COLUMBIA AWARD
This award recognizes excellence in a council’s programming and charitable outreach. To earn this award a council must conduct and report programs in each of the four program categories (Faith, Family, Community, and Life) for a total of 16 program credits, with four in each category.
